Julie in the News

Julie Beats Tony Stewart in Plymouth September 3, 2003- and wasn't even trying!

Julie didn't know she would be racing with Tony when she beat him in a heat race at the Plymouth Night of Champions. The stands at the Sheboygan County Fairgrounds were filled with fans, a lot of Tony Stewards, by looking at t-shirts and hats. Tony was in Julie’s heat and she didn't know until after that she was racing with and beat the NASCAR legend.
Julie says this was an experience that she will never forget. “I didn’t know that he was in my race. If I would of known, I would have thought that he would do really good and beat everyone.”
Julie thinks that it’s “really cool to have NASCAR racers race with us”.
